St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church joyfully celebrates Black History Month! Stay tuned for exciting opportunities to join us, all month long, in commemorating and honoring this important time.
Black History Month Observance at St. Thomas continues this Sunday with special guest speaker Canon Annette Buchanan, Chair of the Commission on Black Ministry for the Diocese of New Jersey. Canon Buchanan will be preaching at both the 8AM and 10:30AM Sunday services and speaking during 9AM Adult Formation.
The Annual Black History Month Luncheon will begin after the 10:30 AM service, themed “Soup-er Bowl” Contact Vivian H for details!
A car- or van-pool will be leaving the St. Thomas’ parking lot at 2pm sharp!
St. Thomas’ is not hosting a Shrove Tuesday meal this year. But the people of St. Stephen’s, Mullica Hill, have graciously offered for us to join them at 5.30pm on Tuesday, 13 February. This is a great opportunity to nurture the threads that connect us to our neighboring Episcopalians!
