The Annual Church Picnic will combine with the Annual Kickoff on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Camp Sun N’ Fun. 1036 N. Tuckahoe Rd., Williamstown, NJ. 08094. Stay tuned for the sign up sheet for dishes.

We will also be offering a blessing of the backpacks and a commissioning of the church school teachers.

The annual Fall Flea Market will be on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Anyone interested in renting a table can contact Barbara C. 609-876-7245.


Are you interested in learning what it truly means to be a disciple for Christ? St. Thomas Episcopal Church’s first Adult Formation class of the year will cover that and more in our four-week book study, Belonging: Five Keys to Unlock Your Potential as a Disciple by Karoline M. Lewis. This book study, led by Rachael O. will begin on September 24th in the Parish Hall at 9 AM and will continue until October 15th. If you are interested in participating in the book study, please purchase Belonging at a bookseller near you, such as Barnes & Noble and Words Matter Bookstore in Pitman, NJ, or borrow the book at your local library. If you have any questions, please speak to Rachael O. at rachmo407@gmail.com.


Did you know that the first women to be ordained in the Episcopal Church were ordained in Philadelphia in 1974? Fifty years later, a documentary film has been made about “the Philadelphia Eleven” and will be screened on-site at the beautiful and historic Church of the Advocate on Saturday, 30 September, at 2pm. Cast members will be in attendance! We have ten tickets! Please email office@stthomasglassboro.org to reserve yours and join Fr. Todd at this event. First come, first served! Also specify whether you would be interested in a carpool from St. Thomas’.


SAVE THE DATE!  The Annual Ladies Tea is returning, Sunday, October 8th immediately following the 10:30 am service!  Hoping all ladies of the church will come and join us for the fellowship, tea, and goodies!


The ECW will be having a meeting Sunday, September 24th, immediately after the 10:30 am service in the lower level of the Parish Hall.  Please come!


St. Thomas’ is once again participating in the Boscov’s “Friends Helping Friends” fundraiser.   The ECW is selling 25% off passes to used in-store at Boscov’s only on Wednesday, October 18th from 8 am til 11 pm.  Passes are $5 and the entire $5 goes to St. Thomas’. Please see Linda K or other ECW ladies to get your pass.


If you would like to support relief efforts for those suffering from the fires in Hawai’i, Bishop Fitzpatrick of the Episcopal Diocese of Hawai’i suggests donations to the Episcopal Ministry on Maui called A Cup of Cold Water .  You can send checks to: A Cup of Cold Water, 2140 Main St., Wailuku, HI 96793. Or you can donate online by giving to the Bishop of Hawai’i’s pastoral fund which will then be forwarded on to A Cup of Cold Water.
