Obituary
On Maundy Thursday, 28 March, we will be offering a “Garden Watch” for those who would like to follow the example of the disciples whom Jesus asked to join him in the garden and watch (i.e., remain awake, praying) with him. We do this in the nave, in one hour shifts, starting at 8pm. If you would like to take part, please email
office@stthomasglassboro.org with the time range you would be willing to watch. We’ll begin our watch at 8pm and end when we run out of watchers. A schedule will be sent out once everyone is signed up. Please register your desire to participate by next Sunday, 17 March.
At the Great Vigil of Easter Saturday, 30 March, at 6pm, we will gather around the new fire and then tell our Christian story at length. There are seven readings, listed below. We are looking for creative interpretations of at least some of these stories. Please consider
signing up (with some partners!) to recount one of these by emailing office@stthomasglassboro.org and specifying your first and second choices for stories.

At the Great Vigil we are also looking for musical contributions: if you would like to sing or play a hymn or spiritual song during the Vigil, please email office@stthomasglassboro.org with the title of your song and what it is about, and also touch base with Bryan B., our new music director, about your intentions.
Father Charles DuBois, former Rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Pitman, died on Friday, 8 March. His interment service will be held at 2pm on March 22 at The Church of the Good Shepherd (315 Highland Terrace, Pitman, NJ). You can read more about him here.
Final Week: Learn from our current Presiding Bishop’s philosophy of life this Lenten season by joining Adult Formation as we read Love is the Way: Holding on to Hope in Troubling Times by Bishop Michael Curry. See how you can make an intentional commitment to be part of the Jesus Movement in the Episcopal Church. This book study, led by Rachael O. will begin on March 4th in the Parish Hall at 9 AM and will continue until March 24th (with no class being held on March 17th). If you are interested in participating in the book study, please purchase Love is the Way at a bookseller near you or borrow this title from your local library.
