Last week to catch this series!

This week Presiding Bishop Curry called the Church to respond to violence in Gaza by demanding a stop to the killing. “Today I raise my voice for love because more than 10,000 people have died in Gaza, including more than 4,000 children. The violence is horrific, and the geopolitics are complex, but my call to love is simple: Stop the killing. Stop all of it. Stop it today.”

An Invitation from Bishop French

Everyone interested in having a healthy congregation is invited to join a Diocesan conversation about just that! The special speaker, the Rev. Alissa Newton, knows what she’s talking about and is always a joy to be with. You are welcome to attend online, and you will find it even more profitable in-person, at Trinity Cathedral in Trenton, on Friday evening (18 Nov) and Saturday morning (18 Nov). Register here.

Did you know the Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City, so much in the news recently, is a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem? You can read more about it, or make donations through a reliable partner, the American Friends of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem.

Read Presiding Bishop Curry’s comments on these events here.

See a news report on the hospital’s most recent trauma here.

Interested in joining a new ministry but don’t know where to start?  Every week, a different group will be highlighted at the end of the newsletter.  Information about meetings, what they do in the church or community, contact info and more!  If you have content you want to share about your ministry, send it to announcements@stthomasglassboro.org to be featured in an upcoming newsletter.
