Annual Meeting
DeaconKen
St. Thomas’ Presents… a new Deacon for Christ’s Church: The Reverend Ken Carpinelli! Two dozen of us were there to proudly witness his ordination at Christ Church Cathedral in Trenton on 19 January 2019. Congratulations, Ken!
Thanksgiving 2018
For Thanksgiving, many of us gathered at the church for Holy Eucharist at noon and a meal afterwards. Several Rowan students came and were deeply appreciative of our hospitality. St. Thomas’ is a family — with room to spare for our Rowan neighbors! Thank you to everyone who brought dishes to the meal and helped clean up afterward!
Renewal of Ministry
On Sunday, 18 November, St. Thomas’ celebrated a Renewal of Ministry, recognizing the changes that come when a church and a new Rector begin to work together. This was a big liturgy and a big reception, with very many people contributing to make them go. Thank you! St. Thomas’ was gracious and generous with our Bishop, local clergy, and numerous out-of-town visitors who came to celebrate with us!
Renewal of Ministry
Everyone is invited to a Renewal of Ministry with the Welcoming of the Reverend Todd Foster as Rector of St. Thomas’ on Sunday, 18 November at 3pm. The Right Reverend William H. Stokes, presiding.
Ham & Oyster 2018
Ham & Oyster 2018 was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen! Thank you, especially, to Linda Kinsley for her extraordinary organizational work this year. Our guests raved about the food, proclaiming the oysters the best ever (with our new breading mix!). The hours and effort that St. Thomas’ puts into making this event happen cause the vitality of our parish to shine for every person who walks in our doors every Election Day!
