Dear St Thomas’,

The call for stewardship has already begun with the fabulous Ministry Fair in September organized by Sarah T.. In October, we’ll be sending out pledge cards asking for your continued financial support as well. Expect to hear from different voices as people share their journeys with stewardship. Here’s our first testimony:

Since joining St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Glassboro, my stewardship journey has been incredibly fulfilling. Contributing financially to the church on a weekly or monthly basis has given me a deeper sense of connection and purpose within the congregation. It’s heartening to see how these contributions directly support the church’s mission and the well-being of our community. Knowing that my gifts help sustain the church’s operations and outreach efforts has strengthened my faith and enriched my spiritual life.

Giving regularly has also fostered a sense of gratitude and generosity in my daily life. Through stewardship, I’ve experienced the joy of being part of something larger than myself, contributing to the church’s growth and the impact it has on the lives of others. It’s not just about giving money; it’s about being an active participant in the church’s mission, knowing that my offerings (time, talent & treasures) play a part in creating a welcoming, supportive environment for all who walk through our doors. This experience has truly been a blessing, allowing me to live out my faith in a tangible and meaningful way.

Regards,
Handell

What good things has God been doing in your life lately? If you would like to share your experience either orally or in writing, I invite you to do so.

Thanks,
Eric  C. – Stewardship Chair
