About Us

In the Acts of the Apostles, Jesus commanded his disciples to go forth and minister to all nations and to all people. At Saint Thomas’ Episcopal Church in Glassboro, New Jersey, His call to His people still rings loud and clear. Those who call St. Thomas’ home have a great commitment to faithful worship and service. This is a church where people come to roll up their sleeves, eat at the Lord’s table and then go about doing Jesus’ work, with joy and love for one another.

This is a congregation rooted in the history of the area, with one of the oldest sanctuaries in the area that is on the national Register of Historic Places. The borough founders are buried in our cemetery. We are a highly energetic congregation that can fill the calendar with functions that always seem to draw a good crowd. We are a congregation that cares about our neighbors, including by feeding the hungry with our monthly food pantry, Kitchen of Hope

Our parish is a warm and loving place where people of different ages, races, orientations and backgrounds can come together and worship as one family. The best way to see what we are about and get to know us is to come worship with us. You are invited!
